About The Position
We are seeking a skilled CNC Set-Up Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
- Candidate must be able to set up and operate a CNC Lathe
- Candidate must be able to Edit G-Code
- Candidate must be able to Teach Tools Manually.
- Candidate must be able to bore jaws.
- The ability to troubleshoot and operate G-Code Lathes
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to maintain part quality
- Troubleshoot basic machining issues and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Complete production and inspection documentation as required
