About The Position

One of our valued clients in the precision manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced CNC Setup Operator to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role responsible for machine setup, tooling, and ensuring high-quality production output.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent practical experience)
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
• Knowledge of G-code programming and CNC setup procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow management direction
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Prior CNC setup or machining experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC equipment to meet job and production requirements
• Create setup parameters and processes for new jobs
• Ensure tooling availability and proper material handling
• Perform first article and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards
• Operate CNC machines to meet production rates while maintaining accuracy
• Manage and adjust CNC programs and offsets to meet part specifications
• Utilize DNC software and maintain machine functionality
• Perform general equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
• Follow safety and quality procedures and complete additional assigned duties
