JP CNC Repair, based in Mukwonago, Wisconsin, specializes in repairing, maintaining, and servicing CNC machinery for a variety of manufacturing clients. Our team provides hands-on technical solutions that ensure equipment operates reliably, efficiently, and safely. JP CNC Repair is seeking a CNC Repair Specialist to diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC machines both on-site and in the shop. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery. This role supports smooth production operations and ensures client equipment meets performance standards.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
• Proven experience repairing and maintaining CNC machines or industrial equipment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and machine software
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on CNC machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Assess and troubleshoot machinery using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding the status of repairs and provide recommendations for maintenance.
• Document service activities and keep records of parts used and repairs made.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and machine inspection programs to enhance machine longevity.
• Work closely with technicians and field engineers to provide the best solutions for our clients' needs.
• Stay updated on the latest CNC technologies and repair techniques.
