About The Position

CNC Programmer Job Summary: The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to produce high-quality parts. The CNC Programmer works closely with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in machining operations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Mastercam and CAM software
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprints
• Knowledge of precision measuring tools
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• 5+ years CNC programming experience
• Advanced Mastercam proficiency
• Experience with CNC milling and turning
• Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds, and speeds
• Ability to work independently in production environments
• Sitting/walking for extended periods
• Occasional bending, lifting up to 25 lbs
• Manufacturing environment requiring PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines using Mastercam
• Perform setups and support production as needed
• Maintain program and tooling libraries
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams
• Implement process improvements and poka-yoke solutions
• Support Lean initiatives and maintain workspace organization
• All other duties as assigned by management.
