What We Offer: · Competitive Salary with bonus opportunity · Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance · (12) Paid Time Off Days and (11) Paid Holidays · 401(K) Retirement plan with employer 4% match · Flexible Work Schedule – Option to work Four (10) Hour Days or five (8) hour days. · Business Casual Dress Code Machine Parts Specialist Responsibilities: · Opportunity and Pipeline Support. o Assist in generating new opportunities. o Review customer technical specifications/drawings to assist in opportunity assessments. o Provide expert material and application support to both internal and external customers. · Machining Quoting and Order Entry. o Generate Quotes for finished machine parts based on customer provided drawings and/or models. o Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical insight and ensure quotes align with customer needs and technical specifications. o Support purchase order review to verify accuracy and facilitate the conversion of quotes to orders. Assist with managing customer expectations by providing updates on order status and ensuring a smooth transition from quoting to order fulfillment. · Machining Production Support. o Provide on-the-floor problem solving support. Troubleshoot, recommend, and implement permanent solutions to production issues. Research and recommend process improvements as potential opportunities are identified. o Manage the Machine Shop production schedule. Coordinate and lead machine daily maintenance and yearly PM Service and coordinate any machine repairs with third party vendors. o Assist with inspections of finished parts ensuring completed parts meet and exceed customer supplier prints. o Machine coding, machine operation, and quality checks. Lead and Drive Root Cause analysis for any components not meeting print.

Requirements

  • Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, etc.) – GibbsCAM software experience Preferred.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point), CRM, and ERP software programs. Preferred if the candidate has some CAM software and G Code experience.
  • Ability to use precision tools (such as a CMM, Micrometers, etc.) to take accurate measurements.
  • Knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials
  • Attention to Detail and Time management skills are a must
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
  • Good at math with analytical abilities
  • A self-directed, dedicated professional with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work within a team in both lead and supportive roles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • GibbsCAM software experience
  • some CAM software and G Code experience
