About The Position
The CNC Programmer will work with the Engineering and Production teams to support all CNC programming at the facility. This position will lead all programming and nesting for all the CNC Routers and Cutting Machinery at the facility.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree Required: Trade, Tech or Vocational Education
- Years of experience: 3 to 5 years
- Experience with 3D CAD programs (Catia, SolidWorks, Inventor).
- Strong knowledge of G and M Code.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Programming (if applicable)
- Knowledge of Mastercam Software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design cut programs from 3D CAD models to support production of finished goods.
- Program all CNC machines for routing and cutting of raw materials.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project Managers, and Designers to ensure products meet product requirements.
- Work with third party vendors to develop improved tooling for machine processing.
- Support production by training operators on proper operational and nesting procedures.
