This role involves troubleshooting processes on the floor, process improvement, and operator training, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The individual in this role must possess strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and CNC programming techniques. This includes G-code, CAM software, and tooling selection. Familiarity with the practical application of engineering science and technology is essential, particularly in the design and production of precision components. Employee must understand and comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, as well as Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time technical support and develop, optimize, and validate programs for CNC machining operations.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to implement and improve processes, including the training of operators on new SOPs, tooling and fixturing.
  • Design, manufacture, and implement custom fixturing and tooling.
  • Maintain accurate records of tooling and fixturing drawings.
