About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to support precision manufacturing operations. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts while meeting safety, quality, and production standards.

Requirements

• Siemens controller on a 50" Fryer VTL
• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer and/or Operator
• Ability to program directly from prints or 3D models (CAM experience preferred)
• Experience with CNC Mills and/or Lathes (HAAS preferred)
• Strong understanding of G-code and machining processes
• Knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and material properties
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CAM software such as GibbsCam, Mastercam, or similar
• Experience machining tight-tolerance and complex parts
• Previous experience in a production or job shop environment

Responsibilities

• Program CNC Mills and/or Lathes from blueprints and 3D models
• Perform full machine setups, including tooling, fixturing, and offsets
• Operate CNC equipment to manufacture parts to required specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make program adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet production deadlines
