Repligen is seeking a hands-on, skilled CNC Programmer and Operator with expertise in Mastercam to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts to specification. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of G-code, Mastercam, machining processes, and quality control standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC milling and programming.
  • Proficient in Mastercam for creating and editing CNC programs.
  • Proficient in using 3D model software to develop milling programs
  • Strong knowledge of G-code.
  • Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and GD&T.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multi-axis CNC milling machines.
  • Familiarity with other CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
  • Experience in a high-mix, low-volume production environment.
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam for milling operations.
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis and/or 4/5-axis, depending on equipment).
  • Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for machining operations.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Perform first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot programming or machining issues to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of jobs, tooling, and setups.
  • Ensure machines are properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe and clean work environment.

  • The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $70,000-$85,000.
  • Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
  • Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
