About The Position

Production Saw & Machine specializes in innovative manufacturing solutions through personal attention to customer cutting and machining needs. We produce high- and low-volume precision CNC-machined parts for automotive suppliers, the military, industrial equipment, agriculture, and heavy truck industries. We are seeking an experienced CNC Production Supervisor to provide advanced technical support for our production facility. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and safety of machines, tools, utilities, and facility systems. In addition to performing all core maintenance duties, the Senior Technician serves as a subject-matter expert in electrical systems, automation, and complex troubleshooting, supporting both equipment uptime and the maintenance team's development.

Requirements

  • Experienced CNC Production Supervisor
  • Ability to provide advanced technical support for a production facility
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Ability to program CNC mills and lathes
  • Ability to perform machine setups, including tooling and fixtures
  • Ability to operate equipment

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to Shift Supervisors, Leads, and Operators
  • Establish clear expectations for shift handoffs and priorities
  • Reinforce company policies and core values
  • Serve as first-level escalation for production, staffing, quality, and safety concerns
  • Coordinate production priorities and changeovers
  • Collaborate on scheduling and urgent jobs
  • Removal of barriers impacting throughput and safety
  • Troubleshoot machining and operational issues
  • Interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Program CNC mills and lathes
  • Perform machine setups, including tooling and fixtures
  • Operate equipment as needed
  • Verify inspections and ensure conformance
  • Enforce quality standards
  • Complete Layered Process Audits
  • Drive improvements with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain documentation (DOAR, setup sheets, tool cards)
