About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Laborer to join our precision aerospace components for turbine engines. This role involves working with presses, sheet metal fabrication, assembly, saw cutting, and EDM machining, etc to produce high-quality components that meet exact specifications. Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with press operations, sheet metal work, saw cutting, and EDM machining.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail in precision machining and quality assurance.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills in production environments.
  • Commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively on projects.
  • Ability to read micrometers, gauges and calipers.
  • Must be comfortable working with heavy machinery and able to use the correct safety equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day.
  • Must be clean and organized for the safety of the environment worked in.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain presses for stamping, forming, and shaping metal components.
  • Perform sheet metal fabrication, ensuring precise cuts, bends, and finishes.
  • Handle saw cutting operations to trim and prepare materials for production.
  • Execute EDM machining processes for intricate and precision-cut components.
  • Conduct assembly work, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and quality control.
  • Inspect finished products to meet industry and client specifications.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain an organized, efficient workspace.
  • Operator machinery to cut and shape steel materials
  • Working with sheet metal
  • Looking for defects on the material as it moves on the line.
  • Variations of job performance will happen due to cross training.
