Learn about productivity, quality, engineering, and machining as they happen in the real world Summary: The CNC operator loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment. Responsibilities

  • Load and unload parts into machines.
  • Use basic measuring equipment to inspect parts.
  • Maintain production rates.
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
  • Performs inspection of machined products, and maintains inspection logs.
  • Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.
  • Follow detailed work instructions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
