Ideal candidates will be able to confidently read and interpret blueprints, use measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, and proactively recognize and adjust for any machining issues. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is required.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use measuring tools and read blueprints.
• Ability to use shop mathematics.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds over the course of a shift.
• Willingness to learn new things and be part of a team.
• Great attitude and attendance.

Nice To Haves

• 2-5+ years of CNC experience is preferred.
• Experience as a CNC Mill or Lathe Operator is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) machines.
• Work safely around equipment and coworkers.
• Participate in training and learn about Dixon products.
• Perform daily maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate flexibility with rotating assignments.
• Work as part of a team.
