About The Position

Our California division, located in Huntington Beach, is hiring a CNC Operator for our 3rd Shift (10:30 pm – 7 am). Family-owned for over 75 years, Precision Resource is a leading global supplier of precision metal components and assemblies using a fineblank production method. We provide solutions to quality, cost and production challenges for market-leading customers in industries such as automotive, heavy duty, medical, aerospace, electronics, tools, hardware, military and defense. Summary The Machine Operator is responsible for the operation of various machines, including lathes and mills. The successful candidate will be committed to the highest level of integrity, trust and responsibility and bring a hands-on approach to day to day operations.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent degree (GED).
• Five years of experience working with machines or certification from a trade school.
• To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. or protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).

Responsibilities

• Operate various machines, including lathes and mills.
• Visal inspection of parts.
• Monitor equipment for correct operation.
• Inform Manager of machine and production problems.
• Attend training activities, as required.
• Participate in continual improvement teams, as required.
• Participate in safety and OSHA training.
• Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.
• Work in an organized manner with attention to details.
