About The Position

Aerometals is looking to add the following position: CNC Operator Pay range: $23 - $28 Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to: Oversee machines while tasks are executed. Check and change parts on fixture and vacuum table. Make tool offset changes to meet tolerance of part features. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machine. Follow procedures, work instructions, and select proper tools. Utilize precision measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools. Perform blueprint math such as stacked tolerance and edge distance. Take directions from journeyman, leads, and supervisors. Perform any other duties as required by the organization. Qualification Requirements: Education: High school diploma Skills: Mechanically inclined Ability to follow instruction and learn CAD/CAM programs Safety conscious Ability to lift 50 pounds Experience: 1 year of mechanical work Training: On the job training. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, autoclave, and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application, militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters.
