About The Position

Supports and works within the established safety rules and procedures Follows all established procedures as defined in the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System Reads and understands blue prints Operates NC & CNC machine tools (mills & lathes) and manual support machines (drill press, bench and tool grinder, saws, etc.) Performs MIG welding Operates precision measuring equipment, transfers data to Quality Control worksheets Organizes and records production data / material usage to Work Orders Assists in general operations, such as cleanup, inventory maintenance, etc. as appropriate Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Basic math skills equivalent to a High School level math program
• Able to determine dimensional measurements and to perform basic calculations
• Good mechanical aptitude (Bennett Mechanical Assessment required)
• Able to perform as a self-directed worker or within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Operate NC & CNC machine tools (mills & lathes)
