Requirements

  • Working knowledge of CNC operations and control functions.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, measurements, and instruments.
  • Solid math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure, working independently or in a team.
  • Clear communication skills—oral and written—with sensitivity to professional ethics and diversity.
  • Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including weekends, when required.

Responsibilities

  • Report to your supervisor at the start of each shift for assignments.
  • Run CNC machines to produce precision parts that meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Load and unload parts and bar feeders safely and efficiently.
  • Operate general machine shop equipment safely and correctly.
  • Read, interpret, and apply blueprints to determine tool selection and cutting processes.
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
  • Handle part inspections, gauging, and quality control accurately.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues, valuing diversity and inclusion.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to processes, products, and practices.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Keep your work area clean, orderly, and compliant with standards.
