About The Position

Miller CAT is a leading provider of advanced vehicle anti-theft devices (Cat Shield) and CARB Compliant Catalytic Converters. We are located in Northeast Dallas, in a state of the art 70,000 square foot facility with multiple new Amada CNC Laser and Punch machines, new Amada Press Brakes, CNC spinning machines, automated deburring, laser etching machines, tube bending and multiple welding stations.

We are seeking a skilled, reliable CNC Operator with experience in operating Amada Punch Laser Combination Machines, specifically the EML 2515AJ. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Amada machinery, preferably with experience in punch laser combo setups. This is a full time role, but we are open to part time candidates, who can work night and/or weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating Amada Punch Laser Combination Machines or similar equipment.
• Proficiency in setup, operation, and maintenance of Amada machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work efficiently.
• Reliable and able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working within a highly technical environment.
• Perform setups and operations on Lasers and/or Turret Punch.
• Can understand and modify G and M code machine language.
• Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain Amada Punch Laser Combination Machine to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize machine efficiency and workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and machine maintenance activities.
