About The Position

We are seeking a CNC Setup Machinist with advanced experience in machine setups to run precision milling and turning operations on HAAS machinery. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience setting up CNC mills and lathes, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

Requirements

Proficiency in CNC setups and operation, including 3-5 axis mills (required) and lathes (preferred).
Experience with Fanuc Controls.
Experience editing programs at the machine terminal.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push, pull, or exert 25 pounds.
Strong understanding of machining processes and quality control
Knowledge of machining cyclinder heads and welded parts.
5 years or more years experience setting up HAAS or Fanuc control CNC machines mills and / or lathes.

Responsibilities

Review manufacturing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Set up and operate CNC machines, including 3-5 axis milling centers, horizontal and vertical mills.
Perform setups for both CNC mill operations (required, and lathe operations (preferred).
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure part quality standards are met.
Maintain equipment according to company-defined standards.
Collaborate with team memebers to optimize machining processes.
Operate more than one machine depending on production volume.
