About The Position

The CNC Manager oversees daily manufacturing operations and leads production teams to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals. You'll work directly with supervisors and staff to solve problems, improve processes, and ensure products are built right the first time. This role involves managing budgets, coordinating with other departments, and developing your team's skills to support the company's growth and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of various manufacturing and processes including workflow, equipment operations and assembly techniques.
  • Team management, employee development, and conflict resolution
  • Experience with AS9100 Requirements
  • Must possess strong leadership, management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with production-related software and basic computer skills
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person”)
  • GED/High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing supervision with demonstrated leadership success

Nice To Haves

  • IPC certification
  • Associate's degree in business or a related manufacturing field
  • Prior CNC experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop production supervisors through coaching, training, and performance evaluations
  • Set team goals that support company objectives and track progress with supervisors
  • Resolve production issues quickly to minimize downtime and maintain workflow
  • Communicate regularly with production teams and senior management about schedules, targets, and performance
  • Handle employee relations issues and ensure proper disciplinary procedures are followed
  • Monitor daily production output and adjust staffing or processes as needed
  • Coordinate with sales, engineering, quality, materials, and shipping departments to maintain smooth operations
  • Manage production budget, control costs, and identify opportunities to reduce waste
  • Serve as primary contact with suppliers and customers on production-related matters
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production processes
  • Lead improvement projects to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance safety
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements and other regulatory standards
