Apply today What to Expect: As a CNC Maintenance Specialist, you will perform the duties associated with the maintenance of facilities and equipment that support the production of Caterpillar machines. You will be able to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. What We Offer: Multi-Shift Openings: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization. 1st shift: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. 2nd shift: Monday – Friday , 3p.m. – 11 p.m.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and leading repairs on CNC machines such as Fanuc, Siemens, PAMA, and other CNC controls/equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, lead repairs on breakdowns, and RCCA actions for CNC Machines
  • All eligible candidates MUST pass the following pre-employment screenings before they can be hired to Caterpillar: Background Screening Drug Screening Post-Offer Medical Questionnaire (clearance from Corporate Medical)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience within a Caterpillar facility
  • Familiar with PM procedures, including performing PMs, logging completion, etc.
  • Able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), System Control Software (SCS), scanners, etc.
  • Able to recommend and implement corrective action

Responsibilities

  • work on skilled & advanced electronic, pneumatic and Hydraulic systems and be able to interpret schematics
  • coordinate Log Out/ Tag Out
  • Aerial/Boom Lift
  • Safe job procedure adherence
  • knowledge in the preventative maintenance program and installation of new manufacturing equipment
