Description Primary Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts that meet quality and production standards Monitor machine performance and make necessary tool adjustments or replacements Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Support company goals by maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety in all operations Job Duties Run production lots and communicate effectively with team members regarding job status and output Perform routine machine shop operations, including setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting Identify and report defective materials or nonconforming parts to management Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including proper removal of metal shavings and debris Follow all company quality standards, policies, and procedures Actively participate in safety programs and adhere to all HSE requirements Perform other duties as assigned Education and Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience required with the ability to independently perform setups and program edits; 5+ years preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Veterans Welcome At NOV, we proudly support and hire U.S. military veterans.
