To support the growth and development of our new hires, this position is eligible for a 90 Day Evaluation that includes a pay increase if key performance indicators are met. Scope: Responsible for the generation, maintenance and control of CNC programs for the fabrication of TTM parts, subassemblies and end products.

Requirements

  • Ability to use precision measuring tools, (i.e. micrometer, caliper, height gauge)
  • Ability to interpret blueprints/drawings
  • Ability to access computer (i.e. 3D modeling software)
  • Must have good interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Associate's degree - Machine Trades/Mechanical Technology or Equivalent
  • 0-2 Years of Experience in Machine Operating and related Metal Machines training
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

  • Keep Machine Shop Supervisor and Facilities informed of problems and breakdowns.
  • Work closely with CNC Operator and Programmer to help generate time saving CNC programs (CI).
  • Perform first-piece inspection of all set-ups to insure high yield and quality of work performed.
  • Review designs of new and existing products and ensure adequate and acceptable CNC programs can be generated in a cost effective manner and per established standards.
  • Assist designer in development of part designs to ensure manufacturability.
  • Conceptualize, define, develop and debug CNC programs for engineering and production fabrication of TTM parts, subassemblies and end-products.
  • Determine feasibility of design concepts.
  • Work with process engineering personnel to determine proper feeds and speeds for available tools while considering the machine characteristics and the type of material to be machined.
  • Work to develop customer relationships through collaboration, respect, professionalism, trust and integrity.
  • Comply with established procedures regarding support documentation and quality assurance operations for all programs written or revised.
  • Comply with and enforce safety regulations.
