About The Position

CNC Machinist Location: West Chester, PA Employment Type: Direct Hire – Full Time Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Compensation: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Weekend Shift (Three 12-hour shifts; work 36 hours, paid for 40) HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled CNC Machinist to join one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this CNC machining production role. Position Overview This role is responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision components in a high-quality manufacturing environment. The selected candidate must be capable of maintaining production flow, verifying part accuracy, and supporting daily operational demands while maintaining strict adherence to blueprint specifications and tolerance requirements. This is a hands-on production machining role that requires discipline, consistency, and a strong understanding of machining fundamentals.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of CNC machining experience in a production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
  • Experience inspecting tight-tolerance parts using calipers, micrometers, or similar tools
  • Proven ability to operate more than one machine efficiently
  • Stable work history in machining or manufacturing environments
  • Candidates lacking machining experience or demonstrating frequent job changes will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Mazak machines
  • Experience with Star Swiss-style lathes
  • Exposure to regulated or high-precision manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity assisting with setups and tool changes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC lathes and/or machining centers in a production setting
  • Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment to confirm tight tolerances
  • Monitor tool wear and make necessary offset adjustments
  • Run multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain organized workstations and follow standardized operating procedures
  • Support setup changes and assist with changeovers when needed
  • Communicate production or quality concerns promptly to supervisors
