About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at J.G. Kern Enterprises Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components that meet our high standards of quality and performance. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering superior products on time.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings.
• Proficiency in CAM programming and operating CNC machinery
• Familiarity with GD&T principles and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SolidWorks is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
• Program CNC machines using Mazatrol and CAM software for optimal performance.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
