About The Position

Specialty Tooling Systems (STS) is seeking CNC Machinists for both day and night shifts! The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating the bridge mill. Candidate should have at least 3 years of experience using Haas machines.

Requirements

Experience running HAAS machines (3 years)
Experience setting up and machining weldments from small to large
A well-rounded knowledge of cutters and inserts, and feeds/speeds.
Candidate must have high school or equivalent education.
Candidate must have valid driver’s license
Candidate must have full use of all limbs.
Candidate must be able to read and speak English.
Candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Download programs as needed.
Ability to perform your own programming and run your own details.
Setup and machine to the proper programs and tolerances required.
Recheck setups, change cutters and inserts, and make adjustments as needed to achieve the best possible results.
Maintain appropriate tools and keep current on calibration.
Keep work area clean.
Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management.
Regular attendance at work during scheduled work hours.
Employees may be requested to perform other job functions as required.
