About The Position

CNC Operator The essential role of our CNC Machine Operator is to set up and operate CNC manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment. On any given day an operator may set up production jobs, load raw material, monitoring machinery and, inspect finished parts to ensure that they meet our customers’ requirements. CNC Operator duties and responsibilities: Responsible for producing machined parts by operating CNC machines while maintaining quality and safety standards Observes operation of CNC machines and verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications. Set up machines on a flexible basis to ensure optimum workflow Deburr parts to ensure they meet specifications Properly fill out and document Inspection reports Follow safety procedures Clean equipment and keep work area neat and organized daily Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience as CNC mill operator preferred.
  • Willing to train qualified candidates
  • Knowledge of production procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Read basic measuring devices including micrometers and calipers
  • Good math knowledge
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail

  • Can mentor and teach colleagues with less experience
  • Physical stamina and strength
  • Must be able to lift 25-35 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally 35-50 pounds.

  • Frequently required to stand and walk on the production floor for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
  • Regularly lift, carry, and move materials and tooling weighing up to 25–50 lbs , with or without reasonable accommodation. Use of hoists, carts, or team lifting as required.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for: Tool changes and part inspection, Handling measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), Operating controls and keypads, Loading/unloading parts.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to access machines, fixtures, and materials.
  • Close vision required for reading prints, measuring parts, and inspecting workpieces. Ability to distinguish detail and detect surface defects.
  • Ability to hear machine alarms, warnings, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment.
