About The Position

CNC MACHINISTS Kings Engineering have recently invested in new CNC machines and as a result we have a number of exciting opportunities available in our machine shop for CNC Machinists to join our team and produce high-quality components according to specifications. These roles will be responsible for supporting the achievement of safety and production targets by providing high quality and timely maintenance service to a wide spectrum of engineering services including Mining, Transport, Construction, Rail, and Manufacturing industries. The successful candidates will be a skilled CNC machinist with a strong attention to detail and a passion for precision machining. If you are a motivated individual who enjoys working autonomously and takes pride in the delivery of high-quality work, we want to hear from you. Ideally these roles will cover afternoon shift (Monday to Thursday) and/or be willing to rotate within our range of rosters to ensure operational coverage.

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
• Relevant machinist trade qualification
• Previous Supervisory experience
• Experience operating a CNC borer with Fanuc controller exposure
• Machining experience and proven ability to manufacture parts from drawings and samples
• Strong problem solving ability
• Proficient in reading CAD drawings
• Good written and oral communication with the ability to effectively communicate within and between work teams , demonstrating positive interpersonal skills
• Current valid NSW Driver's Licence

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and efficient machining of parts from drawings and samples
• Meet required targets with safety as the priority
• Operate a variety of CNC machines including borers, lathes, drilling and milling machines
• Complete jobs to a high standard, on time, on budget and in accordance with quality assurance systems
• Demonstrate excellent housekeeping and equipment care
