CNC Machinist
About The Position
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for steel manufacturing in Lavonia, GA. The primary responsibilities include operating CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish steel components according to specifications. The role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders, as well as setting up machines, including tool changes and calibration. The operator will monitor machine operations for quality and efficiency, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies is also essential.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery, preferably in steel manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
