We are looking for a CNC MACHINIST that can start working right away. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC machines, editing of programs and tooling, and performing part inspections. Job Requirements: Make all necessary changes to tooling, programs, speeds, cutter paths under minimum supervision. Set-up and run CNC equipment. Perform in-process inspections and simple first article inspections. Perform buy-off for production at CNC machine centers with supervisor’s approval. Recognize and replace any dull or chipped tools. Document inspections as required. Keep accurate part counts. Re-evaluate and/or reject defected parts as required. Communicate effectively and professionally with employees across all levels and departments at APP. Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment. Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs. Supply own measuring and hand tools. Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
