About The Position

We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists who take pride in producing high-tolerance, mission-critical components for aerospace and power generation applications.

At DRT Power Systems – Winsted, you’ll work on complex turbine components where precision is not optional — it’s everything.

Requirements

• 3+ years CNC machining in precision or aerospace environments
• Strong experience with multi-axis machining
• Ability to confidently read blueprints + GD&T
• Experience with controls such as Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Makino, Mitsubishi
• Strong inspection skills using precision measurement tools
• Detail-driven mindset with low tolerance for scrap or rework

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes
• Machine complex aerospace-grade components to tight tolerances
• Interpret advanced blueprints and GD&T callouts
• Adjust tooling, offsets, and machining parameters to maintain precision
• Perform in-process inspection and final quality validation
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize setups
• Collaborate with engineering and programming teams on process improvements
