About The Position

This is a CNC machinist position. You will be responsible for operating a 5 Axis CNC Mazak Integrex: Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Includes precision instrument makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. This is a 1st shift position. Hours will be 12 hours shifts, 4am to 4pm Mon-Wed, one week and Mon-Thursday the next. NEW HIRES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $2500 SIGN ON BONUS! APPLY TO FIND OUT MORE!

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience operating a 5 axis CNC machine, CNC mill/drill or CNC Lathe and CNC Mill
  • Must possess previous experience in gauge training, geometric tolerancing, and blueprint reading.
  • Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position. Lifting devices/aids will be provided for heavier objects.
  • Must be able to operate and maneuver around machinery safely to protect yourself and coworkers.

  • Machine set-up experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture parts to required specifications and standards using the Mazak Integrex machine (5 axis CNC machine).
  • Develop, design, and grind special tooling instruments and fixtures required for non-standard and experimental products.
  • Develop the machining processes to ensure the product is produced efficiently by assisting operators with deburring, gauge set up, and first article inspection.

  • Adhere to safe work habits, rules, and practices, including the correct use of safety devices and equipment; maintain a clean and orderly workplace, including preventative machine maintenance.

  • Must have flexibility in work hours (shift).
