About The Position

We are seeking a motivated CNC Machinist I to support a precision aerospace manufacturing environment in Claremore. This role is ideal for individuals building hands-on experience operating CNC machinery while working in a high-quality, high-precision setting. The CNC Machinist I will operate CNC machines, assist with setups, inspect finished parts, and support production goals related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA).

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
1–5 years of machining or manufacturing experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and precision measurement tools
Basic understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality standards
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to comply with OSHA, ITAR, FAA, and AS9100 requirements
Ability to obtain internal certifications (forklift, crane, or related equipment)

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational CNC training preferred
Familiarity with CAD, CAM, MRP, and ERP systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machine tools, including 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and lathes
Read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, and work instructions
Measure and inspect parts using calipers and micrometers
Monitor machining operations and make minor adjustments to maintain accuracy
Verify setups by comparing operation sheets and parameters
Assist with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving
Deburr and finish parts to required tolerances and surface quality
Maintain accurate production and inspection records in accordance with AS9100 standards
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Demonstrate a basic understanding of G-code programming and CNC controls
