About The Position

Vitesse Systems is looking for a Machinist I to join the team in Longmont, Colorado! The Machinist I is responsible for programming and manufacturing our high precision antenna feeds. The Role The primary responsibility of the Machinist I is to program and manufacture our high precision antenna feeds.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of machining experience
Related education or certifications will be considered in lieu of industry experience
Ability to hold tight tolerances
Strong communication skills
Strong math skills
Working knowledge of work rules and safety guidelines
Proficiency with GD&T
Proficiency reading blueprints

Nice To Haves

Experience using Mastercam software is a plus

Responsibilities

Program CNC machines according to internal policies and technical documentation using MasterCam under general supervision.
Set-up and run CNC machines under general supervision.
Operate manual machines as needed under general supervision.
Read, interpret, and apply blueprints, GD&T, drawing, and specifications.
Understand and adhere to quality and safety standards and company procedures.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles.
Other duties as assigned.
