About The Position

DirectHire CNC Machine Shop Manager needed to work for a manufacturing company in south Atlanta, GA. Position will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and daily machine shop activities. CNC Machine Shop Manager must observe all safety requirements, including but not limited to OSHA regulations. Overview of job duties: Assist in production planning and monitoring of workflow and quality. Communicate production needs, schedules, and issues to machine operators and shop employees. Assess, organize, and control tool inventory. Oversee setups. Operate and maintain machines as needed including but not limited to programming, adjusting, improving, troubleshooting, and repair. Develop and implement new techniques. Assist others as an educational resource by providing on the job training and work instructions to new and existing staff. Attend educational training seminars as deemed appropriate per company reimbursement guidelines. Other duties as needed

Requirements

• Experience in CNC Machine Operations and Management.
• Must be able to move around freely, move objects up to 200lbs. with reasonable accommodation, and move items up to 75lbs. without assistance.
