Requirements
- Working knowledge of fanus controls on machines such as the Mori Seki, Okumas, Harding, etc.
- Relevant experience working on CMC machines.
- Ability to lift/handle heavy objects frequently.
- Self-motivated and willing to empower others to succeed.
- Maintain a good attendance record, follow all company safety policies, and keep work environment clean.
Responsibilities
- Know how to set up vertical, horizontal, lathe and 5th axis
- Set up CNC machine and take 1st piece to QC for approval
- Adjust programs for QC as needed to qualify for production
- Log setups in setup log
- Show operator how to run part (load and clean up)
- Recover machines and zero out faults
- Inspect fixtures before set-up
- Return fixtures to fixture racks after use
- Keep fixtures/fixtures cleaned and organized
- Repair fixtures as needed
