Are you ready to shape the future with us? Job Description Your tasks HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Operating CNC machining equipment following a production schedule. Accurately labeling parts. Stamping parts as needed. Moving finished parts to the proper areas. Keeping the machine filled with coolant. Ensuring that refractometer readings are within acceptable levels. Monitoring and filling the way oil reservoir. Maintaining a clean workstation adhering to 5S standards. Programming and machining new fixtures. Training new employees. Programming and machining prototype parts and new jobs. THE ENVIRONMENT Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to. This includes personal protective equipment such as safety-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection (optional). This is a 1st shift position, working 7:00am – 3:00pm, with overtime as needed. The job is within a climate-controlled environment, and you will be exposed to forklifts, pedestrian traffic, and moderate noise. The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided. Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant CNC machining experience.
  • Ability to work 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
  • All basic qualifications required for CNC Machine Operator 1, and: Minimum of 3 years of relevant CNC machining experience. Intermediate maintenance experience. Ability to perform tasks outside of department. Intermediate experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.
  • All basic qualifications required for CNC Machine Operator 2, and: Minimum of 5 years of relevant CNC machining experience. Intermediate maintenance experience. Ability to perform tasks outside of department. Advanced experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures. CMM experience.
  • All basic qualifications required for CNC Machinist 1, and: Minimum of 10 years of relevant CNC machining experience. Advanced maintenance experience. Ability to perform tasks outside of department. Expert level experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.
