About The Position

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating the cutting machine to supply pre-cut plastic substrates and fiberglass parts to multiple departments in the production process.

Requirements

• General computer knowledge required
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Ability to read tape measure
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

Responsibilities

• All function/operation of CNC Router (including loading material, operating router, cleaning vacuum system, and cleaning router table)
• Changing tooling on CNC while keeping table smooth and tools accurate for cutting depth
• Running correct material at correct speeds to ensure proper parts and quality
• Perform standard housekeeping duties throughout the day
• Perform in accordance with Maverick Boat Group’s safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
• Sorting and matching work orders with cut parts and ensuring numbers match
• Write numbers on parts accurately and legibly
