About The Position

The CNC Machine Operator plays a critical role in the durable goods manufacturing process by operating machines to produce high-quality components and products. The operator will interpret technical drawings and blueprints to program and adjust machines accordingly, ensuring optimal performance and minimal waste. Ultimately, the CNC Machine Operator ensures that production goals are met safely, on time, and with consistent product excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3+ years of experience of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment or the equivalent in CNC certification and training.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in CNC operation or machining technology.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines.
  • Knowledge of durable goods manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Previous experience working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machinery to manufacture parts according to precise specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor machine operations continuously to detect malfunctions or deviations and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
  • Inspect finished products using measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications and document results.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve production issues and improve machining processes.
  • Maintain accurate production records and adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
