About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to support machining and repair operations for hydraulic components. This position focuses on CNC setup, operation, inspection, and approved program edits, producing precision parts that meet tight dimensional and pressure-related tolerances. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a repair-based machining environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC milling and/or turning equipment preferred
• Basic understanding of CNC controls and G-code/M-code editing
• Familiarity with machining metals used in hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Ability to identify and correct machining issues
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required

Nice To Haves

• NIMS – CNC Milling Operator or CNC Turning Operator
• Haas CNC Certification (Mill or Lathe)
• FANUC CNC Operator Certification
• MSSC Certified Production Technician (CPT)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (General Industry)
• Hydraulic or fluid power training certificates

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to machine hydraulic components
• Load, verify, and run CNC programs according to job documentation
• Read and interpret blueprints, repair orders, and machining specifications
• Install and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces
• Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments
• Perform approved CNC program edits (feeds, speeds, offsets)
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues
• Replace worn or damaged tools and maintain tool offsets
• Perform basic machine maintenance and daily equipment checks
• Document inspection results and production data
