Job Description: A Machine Operator applies principals for CNC machine operating, tool off-setting- inspect machine parts, deburr parts, accurate data keeping and basic maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to support business needs in an English speaking environment

  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees of the organization
  • Ability to understand how their actions may impact other portions of the business
  • CNC operating experience

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machine tools, select and use hand tools, deburr parts
  • Read and comprehend information on blueprints and shop job travelers
  • Use basic precision measurement tools
  • Perform basic quality assurance responsibilities for part production
  • Follow all standardized work procedures and specific instructions given by supervisor
  • Other duties that may be assigned
