About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. This role focuses on mostly custom work, producing precise parts for industries including aerospace, railroad, construction, and medical. Experience working with various metals is preferred. The position also involves occasional travel to client sites using a company-provided, insured vehicle, so a valid driver’s license and reasonably clean driving record are required.

Requirements

• CNC lathe experience, including setup and programming
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Attention to detail and precision
• Physical ability to lift and handle materials as needed
• Steel-toe boots and durable work pants required
• Candidate provides basic hand tools (calipers, Allen wrenches, crescent wrenches)
• All applicants must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes according to blueprints and specifications
• Measure parts accurately using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Inspect finished parts for quality and tolerance compliance
• Perform basic CNC maintenance and troubleshooting
• Travel to client sites as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
