CNC Lathe Operator
About The Position
A.S. Aerospace Inc. manufactures high strength specialty fasteners, including nuts, bolts, screws, studs, and pins. Our products are of the highest quality and very close tolerances. Our products support the US Government and the most demanding customers in the aviation industry. The candidate will be responsible for operating the CNC Lathe, running, and checking production. Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Do first Article Inspection
- Lifting to 40 lbs. and moving 40 lbs. pans with dollies.
- Standing for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, reaching, and grasping to operate CNC lathes.
Responsibilities
- Run two CNC lathes to produce aerospace fasteners meeting quality and production targets.
- Check bolts using precision measuring tools and gages.
- Record daily production into SPC and shop floor control systems
