About The Position

Temp To Full-Time CNC Lathe Operator 2-3 month position depending on work flow, should know how to read prints, calipers, mics, change inserts if needed, 1 year min hands on cnc lathe work, resumes required Description: Responsible for manufacturing (production) of part to the supplied customer print to achieve total print compliance. The development of optimal and efficient operation of equipment to achieve customer and company objectives.

Requirements

• should know how to read prints, calipers, mics, change inserts if needed
• 1 year min hands on cnc lathe work
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in CNC mill or lathe machining production
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints
• Ability to operate overhead crane/jib crane
• Ability to understand measuring equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, bore gages, etc.
• Ability to record measurements accurately onto inspection reports

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Mori Seiki, Samsung and Haas CNC machines preferred with Fanuc controls
• Preferred knowledge of tooling/insert changes and programming tool offsets.
• Knowledge of utilizing various measurement equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, bore gages, etc.
• Two-year certificate in machine trades.
