About The Position

Location Alsip, IL Your mission Execute Standard Work: set up CNC mills/lathes, run parts, and complete PM activities. Perform in‑process inspection, deburr, manual operations, and operate auxiliary equipment. Stage the next job: select and preset tooling to reduce changeover (SMED). Maintain visual controls; create/support countermeasures that sustain improvements. Engage in Kaizen, SMED, and 5 Whys to eliminate waste and solve root causes. Troubleshoot and report equipment abnormalities quickly and clearly. Champion a clean, organized, and safe work environment—safety first, always. What you bring 3+ years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience and strong mechanical aptitude. Fluent blueprint reading and the ability to hold tight tolerances consistently. Reliability, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset. Compensation and schedule 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am Pay range is $23.89-31.24 per hour plus $1.35/hr.
