JOB SUMMARY Manufacturing Precision Metal Products on CNC Machining Centers.  Qualified to Setup and Operate Horizontal Machining Centers manufactured by Mori Seiki and Enshu.  Machining metallic and nonmetallic workpieces for the Aerospace Industry by performing the following duties.

Requirements

  • Certified Training - ISO 9001 & AS9100
  • Certified Training - ASME Y14.5 GD&T Standards.
  • 5 Years - Setup and Operating Horizontal Machining Centers
  • 5 Years - Precision CNC Machining Experience with Fanuc Controls
  • Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8 hours.
  • Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
  • Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work.
  • Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed.
  • Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned.
  • Due to ITAR regulations, only U.S. persons—defined as U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and U.S. nationals—are eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret process plans, and blueprints to determine necessary machining, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements.
  • Ability to edit and troubleshoot programs for process improvements.
  • Utilizes various types of inspection instruments to check work per print.
  • Completes necessary job-related paperwork to include part identification, inspection documents, and production log.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance: proper coolant levels, filters, fan operation, cleans machine, etc.
