About The Position
The CNC Brake Operator is responsible for operating CNC press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to specifications. This CNC Brake Operator role requires strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure precise forming while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous CNC brake or press brake experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of metal forming and fabrication processes
- Experience with machine setup and tooling adjustments
- Strong attention to measurement accuracy and tolerances
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Technical training in fabrication or machining is a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to form metal parts
- Adjust tooling and machine settings to meet job specifications
- Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality
- Read work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
- Monitor machine performance and report issues as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Document production and quality checks
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
