Requirements
- High School or GED Degree required.
- Active CNA License.
- Registration with the State registry is required.
- Exhibits well-developed communication skills.
- Can professionally receive and follow oral instructions in English.
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, toileting, bathing, and exercising
- Assists residents in and out of bed or wheelchair with proper transfer equipment.
- Records vital signs, nourishment logs, and other patient records as necessary.
- Maintains organized and fully stocked bedside unit.
- Changes linens, make beds, and keeps resident rooms tidy.
- Responds to all call lights promptly.
- Assists in assuring the maximum quality of life for all residents.
