About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 25 years. Looking to staff a compassionate and reliable caregiver to start on May 2. The schedule is every Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The ideal candidate must be a pet lover, as family visits may include a dog and a cat, and must be able to drive.

Requirements

• Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Engage the client in conversation and activities
