In this role, you'll assist residents with their daily needs, ensure their comfort and safety, and help create a warm and welcoming environment. Resident Care & Comfort Help residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility Assist with toileting, changing, and keeping residents clean and dry Help residents prepare for medical appointments or tests Support residents in transferring to/from beds, wheelchairs, and vehicles Perform restorative care and skin care routines as instructed Monitoring & Documentation Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) Track food and fluid intake Report changes in resident condition or behavior to nursing staff Record care activities accurately and thoroughly Mealtime & Hydration Support Assist with serving meals and helping residents eat, especially those with visual or mobility limitations Keep water pitchers clean and full Provide after-meal care and clean-up Resident Room Readiness & Safety Prepare rooms for new residents (make beds, place name tags, admission kits, etc.) Help with moving or discharging residents and packing/unpacking belongings Maintain a clean and comfortable environment Observe and report any safety issues or incidents Communication & Teamwork Participate in shift reports and care plan updates Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs Respect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and coworkers We look forward to having you join our team and contribute to the care and well-being of our residents.
